4 Month Check Up

     Sawyer had is 4 month check up on February 20th.  These days are filled with excitement because we see how much he has grown, yet also filled with worries because of the vaccines and the shots!  As always the visit starts with getting him undressed and they weigh him, take his temp, measure his head and check his length.  We always make a guess as to how much Sawyer will weigh...I had guessed 18 lbs and Keith guessed 17...we were close!
     Sawyer's stats this time were:
          Weight:  16.2 lbs (72%tile)
           Height:  23.8 in   (9%tile...uh-oh!)
          Head Circumference:  42.5cm (54%tile)


     He also had 2 shots and a liquid form of a vaccine...he took the liquid no problem, the 1st shot was a breeze and then the 2nd was a little different!  He cried for a little while...but after he was scooped up and loved by daddy then some warm milk with mommy he was his normal happy self (literally only a minute or 2 later).  He is such a great baby!  Dr. Haidar said everything looks great and Sawyer is growing like a weed!  Next visit will be in April.
