The 1st Doctor's Visit

....ooops...I am a little new to this blogging and realized I should have written this post 1st!

     Sawyer had his 1st doctor's visit 1 week after he was born which was Monday October 25th.  We asked our doctor and I had asked some girls at school who they all take their kids to...and the majority said Franklin Park Peds and Dr. Owen takes her kids to see Dr. Haider in that practice.  At our first appointment we fell in love with Dr. Haider and knew we had made the right choice!  He answered our million questions we had and reassured us that everything will be just fine...and that we shouldn't worry so much (ya right, good luck with that one!)  

Getting weighed for the 1st time!  He had dropped to 7 lb. 4 oz when we left the hospital but at this visit he was up to 7lbs. 8 oz....we must be doing something right!

Checking his head measurement...it was still a little large from the birth but will go down over time and with us constantly smoothing it!

Such a big yawn!!  Must be tough being 7 days old!

He might have fussed for a few seconds...but other than that he was great!

Couldn't have been too bad...he fell asleep before it was over!  Funny to look at this picture with a binky in his mouth...I'm sure it's was of the only pics we have because he will NOT take one anymore...I think he did the 1st week and that was it!

     While at the Dr's they weighed him, took his temp, measured his head, measured his height and Dr. Haider checked him over completely.  Everything turned out great!  Ofcourse I took my camera to remember our big day!
